The 2022 NARI Home Improvement Show
40 Years in the Making!!
(Cleveland) – The year was 1982, Ronald Reagan was in the White House, gasoline was $1.22 a gallon and the cost of the average home in the country was $67,800.
1982 was also the year NARI, the National Association of the Remodeling Industry was born.
Fast forward to 2022 and here comes the NARI Home Improvement show, packed with new products and new features designed to inspire homeowners for their next remodeling project, whether it’s a new kitchen, bath or addition, the experts of the industry will all be gathered under one roof at the downtown Cleveland Huntington Convention Center, March 25-27.
“Our members are ready,” said NARI Greater Cleveland Executive Director Kathy Masterson, noting the show was canceled to the pandemic last year and delayed this year due to the spike in cases in January.
Masterson says one of the hottest attractions, The Chef’s Table designed by Artistic Renovations will feature local restaurants and Chefs4Hire. Local artisans will be displaying their creations at The Makers Market.
Both features will be built with the help from students attending classes on careers in construction, Lorain County Joint Vocational, the Auburn Career Center, Medina County Career Center and Lakeland/Tri-C. The students are also in the process of building playhouses which will be auctioned off at the end of the show.
“And we are bringing the She Shed, plus a He Shed this time,” said Masterson, noting the popularity of both items for people who wanted to escape from their homes during the lockdown.
The 2022 NARI Home Improvement Show will take place Friday, March 25 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m., Saturday, March 26, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday, March 27, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are $14.00 and can be purchased in advance at www.NARIHomeshow.com or at the box office.
